Members of NAWIC Chapter #113 (Susan Clary and Stacy Painter) participated in Richland County School District One’s District Advisory Board luncheon at Heyward Career and Technology Center. The participants are from the Midlands and represent a cross section of industry. These industry partners were matched with the CTE’s completer clusters and majors such as building construction, media technology, cosmetology, finance, culinary arts, etc. The advisory board brings real life work-related information that can be incorporated into the district’s curriculum.
