Hood Construction Company congratulates Darla Moore, Project and Subcontractor Outreach Coordinator, on being installed as the 2016-2017 President of the Columbia Chapter of NAWIC – the National Association of Women in Construction.
Moore, who has been a member of NAWIC’s Columbia chapter for nine years, is heavily involved with the organization – including volunteering at the Annual Golf Tournament which funds scholarships for South Carolina college students in construction-related majors. “NAWIC is dedicated to enhancing the success of women in the construction industry, and I am proud to be a part of its future here in Columbia,” said Moore. Hood Construction supports Darla and other employee-members of NAWIC by participating in numerous association events, as well as periodically hosting tours of construction sites.
As a quality-based business leader, Hood Construction is a long-time supporter of NAWIC and other industry partners, as well as the clients and communities we proudly serve. Congratulations to Darla on being installed into this important leadership role!
