On the evening of January 11, 2020 North Central High School in Kershaw County, SC was hit by an F2 tornado. As you can see by the pictures there was massive damage. Currently, there is an immediate need for school supplies for 40 teachers. The school serves 9th-12th grades. Faculty, teachers and students will have to finish the remainder of the school year at a local vocational rehab building.
Thank you for all the school supply and monetary donations that were made for North Central High School in aftermath of the tornado that demolished their school!

The purpose is to highlight the roles women play in the world of construction, coach them on everyday obstacles encountered on the job, and hone soft skills to strengthen and amplify their success in the construction industry.
NAWIC members are women who hold positions in diverse fields including architecture, general contractors, subcontracting, material suppliers, engineers, construction news services, and construction trade associations.
Currently, there are more than 913,000 women employed in construction. Since becoming a national organization in 1955, we have grown from 16 founding members to more than 6,000 members throughout the United States and Canada. We even have a presence in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and South Africa.

Yesterday afternoon, members Krystal Young and Mandi Ellis had the pleasure of delivering 69 freedom bags to Lighthouse For Life for sex trafficking victims. The bags were collected and donated by the members and supporters of Columbia NAWIC Chapter #113 this quarter’s civic project.
They were able to talk to LFL representatives for about 45 minutes. While there, they were notified of the statistics from 2019 report regarding human trafficking. It was a real eye opener seeing their excitement in knowing what they are doing is making a true difference!
Please spread the message regarding human trafficking.. it is here.. in our town, city, county and state. It is in our children’s schools and in our own neighborhoods. This is real and it needs awareness!
