NAWIC Columbia, SC, Chapter #113 prides itself in giving back to the community. Many of our outreach efforts directly impact the folks who are in the most need. We have contributed to many charitable organizations open-heartedly with sponsorships and in-kind donations. The NAWIC Education Foundation was established in 1972 by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). NEF is an IRS 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization and is governed by a Board of Trustees. NEF is solely supported by sponsorships and donations. Financial support educates others through various programs and adult education courses. Fundraising is also done by NEF Fundraising Liaisons at a regional and chapter level.
