Freedom Bags are given to agencies all over South Carolina who work with people who may be victims of sex trafficking. They are full of items to make each person feel valued and cared about. These helping professionals use the Freedom Bags as a very important tool to build rapport and show kindness to these potential victims.

With all of our endeavors that we pursue, NAWIC Chapter #113 strives to help our community be the very best that it can be.  Our Civic Committee works tirelessly to support charitable organizations that we’ve sponsored through the years and identify new programs where there is need. Please see some of the charitable organizations that we sponsor below:

Home Works of America – Providing home repair services to low-income homeowners while mentoring and discipling youth in the process.

Lake Murray SUP Classic – The Lake Murray Standup Paddleboard (SUP) Club sponsors an annual race event annually to benefit the SC Special Olympics SUP Team. Since the inception of the race in 2012, Lake Murray SUP has been able to contribute more than $10,000 to the SC Special Olympics SUP team.  The contributions allow them to purchase SUP boards, a 16-foot trailer and outfit the trailer for paddle gear.

American Red Cross

American Red Cross – You don’t need a special reason to give blood. You just need your own reason. Some of us give blood because we were asked by a friend. Some know that a family member or a friend might need blood some day. Some believe it is the right thing we do. Whatever your reason, the need is constant and your contribution is important for a healthy and reliable blood supply.  And you’ll feel good knowing you’ve helped change a life.
